ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS - Component Based EMR
NOTE: This component is designed for and intended for use by personnel working in Medical Records. It is fully integrated with our Inpatient EHR and Ambulatory EHR products, but does not replace those components. CLIN1-EMR makes it easier for Medical Records staff to manage, review and evaluate electronic charts. For a limited time, we are included a FREE CLIN1-EMR component with the purchase of either our Inpatient EHR or Ambulatory EHR products. Click Here to request additional information. If you have ever tried to use an EHR for a Chart Review, you will appreciate our CLIN1-EMR component.

EMR/EHR/CIS:
Regardless of the Acronym "du jour", the objective is to make patient healthcare information available in a flexible, timely, and accurate manner without tying up man-power for filing and retrieving and without tying up floor space for storage.
Many systems on the market today have no knowlege of the nature of clinical data and merely capture the information from a third party and regurgitate it in a generic manner. While solving the issue of "floor space", these systems rarely present clinical data in the most useful format which can hamper the clinician's ability to interpret data in a meaningful manner. The components of CLIN1 Suite are tailored to specific clinical areas. They are designed to interact with the people that actually generate and use the data. Our many reports and screens are the result of many hours of research and testing with actual clinicians and will present the information you need in the most concise and usable form. Our staff all have clinical backgrounds.

Certification Update
We have completed our internal tasks and documentation in preparation for ONC Certification for Meaningful Use. We will be using Infogard out of San Luis Obispo, CA and have worked closely with them since last November to insure that we are on track and ready for that process. We are scheduled to have our pre-certification conference call Thursday 8/18/2011 and will schedule the actual certification dates soon after that call occurs. We will be certifying both our ambulatory and inpatient integrated EHR products. After doing so, we will be one of a very few vendors that have a 100% windows platform for both inpatient and outpatient environments with the ability to incorporate enterprise scheduling, laboratory, imaging, pharmacy, transcription, ancillary services, document management and medical records via a single SQL database. This model will help us to provide outstanding scalability and unparalleled support for our clients while keeping hardware and infrastructure costs and complexity low. The result will be a whole facility EHR solution with a very affordable Total Cost of Ownership.
Update: We had our pre-certification conference call and review 8/18/2011 as planned. We had a couple of areas where we need to make some small adjustments to guarantee that we are in compliance with the Meaningful Use requirements without question. We have made those adjustments and will be performing (yet another) round of internal testing to make sure things are "squeaky clean" for the certification, which we have scheduled for 9/1/2011 and 9/2/2011.
Update: We completed the certification process with one item requiring "retesting" due to using an incorrect pathway for internal testing on CCD documents. We will retest CCD generation on Monday 9/19/2011. We are 100% certain we will successfully satisfy the outstanding item. At that time, we understand that the internal paperwork process with ONC requires approximately 2 weeks to work its way thru their internal pathways.
Update: We have completed the certification process and have received a verbal "satisfactory". The paperwork has been submitted and we are waiting to receive official written notification along with our "numbers".
Update: We have received our "Certificate Numbers" and should be visible on the ONC Website by October 7, 2011.
NOTE: We offer BOTH Inpatient EHR and Ambulatory EHR and are certifying products in BOTH categories.
